So, today was really cold and rainy in Old Forge, and no one really wanted to do anything. Figures, we choose the one week out of the summer when it’s cold and rainy to come up. I went out for donuts with my grandmother to the one and only bakery in town, but that was about it. My cousins, sister and I weren’t going to let it get us down though: we braved the cold and the rain and took a dip in the lake, which was surprisingly warm! That really made my day. We then had a much-needed tea party, and watched my baby cousins Gabriel and Nathaniel.

I didn’t really take any pictures this day, so here’s a picture I took two days ago of a fearless deer in someone’s yard. The deer around here think they own the place!

(P.s. happy 1 year and 8 month anniversary, Daniel! <3)
